TF Sketches Hurp1

Another vapid description by yours truly. Yes.

I've been pretty lazy lately about finishing things...but i'm mostly in this "LETS PRETEND ART TIME" studies. Of course whenever that happens things start changing only because my ability to visualize and understand things I couldn't pick up before finally are starting to click, so i'm left with...lots of altering. Basically i'm working on refining my sketches and then lines when I get the proper things. But at any rate...

What does that mean with this image? I always had the "black" around the 'noses' especially mostly for some reminiscent something because of TFA in the past, but also just as a guideline maybe? So I finally tried to cut it out, see how it would look as I hadn't done it since last year and hurp. I will have to poke around some more and see how it pans out, so far my giggle snorting happiness at the removal of said blackness seems to be going in a good direction for me, as I didn't freak out and think it was horrible.

First image was done in Open Canvas with a friend then suddenly TOMATO EYES. Yeah so, i'm trying to actually give the femmebots I draw the plating craziness instead of covering it up like a lazy dskljdgskagls that I am. Anyway, Work in progress. I gotta fix the hip plates, "crotch" plating for lack of better terms and just the general "THIS CONNECTS HERE" for her legs and any femmebot in general for future ruinification.

Second, Coronawind and Ravenwing, respectively. Ladies, ladies, ladies. Coronawind (who i'm going to go back and mess with her helm some) is just hur and well...Ravenwing looks like she's going to murder something, but I guess that's her natural Destron face. I was very happy with her crests, sho'nuff - as they have more "weight" to them that just sorta happened.

Last is a trio of assholes Seekers. Skywarp is funny. I think the names written are self explanatory, and boy do they look different without my usual black nose vomit crap or very long face but I love them anyway. Also, how I draw Jet plane? That thing was ref'd from AHM. I need to work on the alt modes or die.

As such, despite this ultimate change i'm trying to work on as improvement, they will forever have those damn eyes and expressions because it just wouldn't be me without them. Darnit.

These are super sketchy, by the by, and were originally in RED but I changed it to blue/purple in Photoshop (well, not the opencanvas sketch). I do not have a proper blue pencil, and blue is easier on my eyes. Parts are off, lines are improper in places, la la la. Sketches. Only for practice and design, just throwing it out there so i'm not told something is off when I already know it as i've had this happen before and it's kinda pointless to tell an artist when they basically know it's crappy in the first place.

I revamp a lot for self progression. Error of my ways.
