My Little Pony Villain WHAT by BLACK-HEART-SPIRAL My Little Pony Villain WHAT by BLACK-HEART-SPIRAL
Copy/paste from FA! It's where I get my groove on most, yo. Also, download for full view if you want.

Ah yes. Back in the day when cartoons had villains...even the cartoons with the cutesy little characters that seemed nothing bad could happen to them.

Anyway, if anyone picks up on WHO this is without me saying, huge kudos to you! I am sure quite a few of your DID watch the old cartoon series back in the 80s...so hopefully he does spark some memory.

And yes, this IS a MY LITTLE PONY Villain. A real one. There were actually a few of them in the series, and some were creepier then others- but this guy takes the cake. Well, maybe him and the rock dog. God, that rock dog scared me when I was a kid...OH, and I can't forget the Centaur demon guy from the first pilot episode. And maybe Catrina. Oh yeah, I went THERE.

I dunno I kinda went into a magical hole of craziness after watching that old Chipmunk movie and wanted to do some old fan art type stuff. Gonna get back on my horrible train of madness momentarily. OH YOU KNOW.

Walk back down memory lane, hope you enjoyed.

And look! Semi sorta background thing! Woo.

I wish they would do villains this bad-ass in modern cartoons... Even the boys cartoons don't have that good of villains!

IMO, the badies in the old cartoon are the only redeeming value of those. I strongly dislike older generations of MLP while I absolutely love the modern generation, but even I must admit they need more villains like this. Tirek was a good start.

I know this comment was made a while ago but still.

Grogar was a ram/goat villains form the Generation 1 of MLP. He ruled the ancient city of Tambelon that had been banished into the shadows only to return every five hundred years. He was a necromancers who's power was tied to a large bell. He ruled over the city and his subjects were Troggles (pig men) who used magical staffs that created cages; Grogar ruled over them through fear and even ordered them when to celebrate, forcing them to dance and cheer while they in truth were terrified. Upon his return he managed to take over all of Ponyland, the Grundles new kingdom and defeated the Flutter ponies; only being defeated by contrivance and his bell being damaged, leading him and his donkey servant Bray to be banished back to the shadows alone.

I hope that helped. :)

Ah yes, Grogar. The Tyrannical ruler of Tambelon. I always like those sort of villains, the ones who come from a different time and thus have an entirely different mindset. In his case he was some medieval warlord.

Great job depicting him. You gave him a really dynamic posture, like he's about to charge.
